We currently have a suspended ceiling installed in most of our basement. After we remodeled the first floor of the house, including moving the stairs, we now have some angled walls/ceilings that have no ceiling tile. I'm trying to figure out how to install ceiling tiles on these angled walls. Can somebody give me any advice on how to do this? The angled wall looks like the left side of a Y, ie: \ and then the wall coming down from that. The pitch is a bit more than that to accommodate the steps coming down from the first floor to the landing, and then the stairs continue on down to the basement from the landing. I hope this makes sense!
In the basement reno that I did in our previous house and the basement reno done by the previous owner of our current house, these angles were not treated as ceiling but finished with either drywall, plywood or hardboard. I doubt a suspended ceiling on such an angle would look good or even be possible. Hope this helps.
